Silent Perch is a meditation on stillness and quiet elevation. A small bird rests atop layered, pebble-like forms, symbolising harmony between earth and sky, grounding and grace. The stacked shapes suggest stability and patience, while the bird’s poised posture hints at awareness, readiness, and calm observation.
The interplay of smooth surfaces and tactile, stone-inspired textures creates a dialogue between fragility and strength. Subtle tonal contrasts and hand-applied finishes allow light to gently trace every contour, giving the sculpture a soft, living presence throughout the day. Designed for both indoor vignettes and curated outdoor corners, Silent Perch introduces a serene, sculptural pause in any space.
Silent Perch is crafted from hand-sculpted clay, kiln-fired for structural strength and durability. Each “stone” form is individually shaped, then stacked to create a balanced vertical composition. The bird is integrated as part of the sculptural body, not simply placed on top, ensuring both visual and structural cohesion.
The surface is finished with hand-painted, stone-inspired acrylic tones and sealed with a protective coating, giving a matte–satin effect that works beautifully under both natural and artificial light. The result is a contemporary sculpture that feels artisanal, grounded, and refined.
